Our Story & The Founders
Our story begins with a shared passion for exploration and a foundation built on decades of hands-on experience at some of the world’s most renowned tech companies. We spent years immersed in the dynamic landscapes of Amazon China and Microsoft China, learning the ropes, leading teams, and embracing the very best of global technology. Those years not only shaped our professional paths but also brought us closer as collaborators who deeply understand both Western and Eastern ways of thinking.
Over the years, our journey took us to many corners of Europe and the United States, where we worked, traveled, and—most importantly—built deep friendships with Western colleagues and partners. We listened to their hopes, challenges, and growing interest in China. With every conversation, it became clear: there was an emerging curiosity among thoughtful Western travelers. They didn’t just want to see China—they wanted to feel it, to connect with its visionaries, and to immerse themselves in its rich traditions.
One day, as we reminisced about these heartfelt conversations, we realized there was a gap waiting to be filled. Many travel options offered only surface-level experiences, missing the true spirit and innovation that define China today. Inspired by our friends’ stories and our own longing to make a difference, we decided to set out on a new adventure—together—to create a platform where curiosity becomes connection, and where every journey is crafted with care and meaning.
Now, we devote ourselves to connecting Western explorers with the brightest minds and most vibrant cultures in China. We don’t just plan trips; we build bridges—opening doors to behind-the-scenes stories, groundbreaking technologies, and authentic moments that touch the heart.
